This four star Parador provides the ideal setting for open-air activities and is a haven for those who enjoy a peaceful, relaxing vacation.
The garden and seasonal swimming pool are perfect for an afternoon stroll or to take a refreshing dip on warm summer evenings. One of the features of this country house is the attractive indoor corridor which characterizes elegant simplicity. Great emphasis has been placed on the large windows, which provide natural light, and the immaculate wood work which combine to make attractive, comfortable accommodation. The accommodation comprises sixty two twin bedrooms, two single rooms and four double bedrooms. Each room has a telephone, television, satellite TV and mini bar. The Parador is air conditioned and has heating, an elevator, restaurant, bar and 2 conference or banqueting rooms. There is also a tennis court and car park. The restaurants of the Parador group hotels offer a variety of dishes including a selection of local and regional specialities. They also offer a diabetic, vegetarian and gluten free option. Albacete has a Cathedral and an Archaeological Museum and the village of Chinchilla del Monte is approximately 20 kilometers away. For those interested in local customs the celebration of the feast of San Juan takes place in June and the Theatre, Music and Dance Festival is usually held in August. During the month of September the Fiesta at Albacete is held and is also well worth a visit. In the Alcacaz mountains you may find various excursions available during certain months. Other outdoor activities include hunting, horse riding, bicycles, kayak etc. The nearest railway station is approximately 4 kilometers from the Parador. Pets are not allowed in the Spanish Paradores. A manor house on the plains of La Mancha which is now a hotel in the Parador group. |
