While staying here, a visit to the coves with transparent waters on the beach of Cancajos is mandatory. This is the best attraction of the island together with the wonderful views that can be seen from the swimming pool of the Parador.
This new Parador de la Isla de la Palma is in an area of great natural wealth located near the capital of the island and the airport, in the area of Brena Baja. The Parador is built in modern but typical Canary island style and features gardens filled with the indigenous plants of the island. The reataurant specialises in good watercress or chick pea soups with varied meats incorporated. We also recommend you sample the fresh, grilled or parboiled fishes, served with a good 'mojo' (typical Canary Island sauce). These dishes may be enjoyed accompanied by a glass of La Palma wine.
