A modern hotel next to the sea on the least populated of the Canary Islands

This Parador is located right next to the sea opposite the Roque de Bonanza, in a paradise setting where the sea and the volcanic mountains meet. This island was marked for many centuries as the westernmost boundary of the world.

This modern building dotted with beautiful balconies, is ideal for rest and tranquillity. Its elegant, colonial interior is preceded by a fascinating garden where you will find an abundance of dragon trees, coconut palms and other plant species as well as a swimming pool.
The very comfortable bedrooms look out over the ocean, offering magnificent views which define its impressive immenseness. You will also hear the tempting murmur of the waves.

The Parador's restaurant features the exotic Canary Island dishes including fish dishes and the local produce. Try:

”Alfonsinos con burgados”, a fish with winkles.
”Quenefas de viejas con salsa de lapas” which are fish rissoles with a sauce made with limpets and sea urchins.
"Caldo de queso herreno", a soup incorporating the cheese of the island.

Discover the savins and the giant trees of Valverde. Also visit the vantage points of Jinamar, Isora and la Pena; the light tower of Orchilla, and the Holy Tree of Garoe.

The route of Restinga is also recommended.

If visiting Valverde in May, enjoy the feasts of San Isidro. In July, every four years there is the descent of the Virgen de los Reyes. Finally, in December, there are the feasts of Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion.

Go to the paradisiacal beaches of this island to swim, sail, fish or practice scuba diving. You may also enjoy the excursions to the inland rock formations, by foot or by bike. Do not forget to visit the Golfo valley.

This Parador has thirty five twin bedded rooms and eleven rooms with a double bed.

All the rooms have a private bathroom and also telephone, satellite television, safe and a minibar.

The building is air conditioned and has a restaurant and bar. There is also a gymnasium. sauna, and a swimming pool.

Pets are not allowed in the Parador.

Directions

The Parador is at the road end on the coast. From both the port and airport, take the road to Puerto de la Estaca. Follow the Parador sign 12 km to the hotel.
