This Parador is located on the left bank of the river Tormes, on a hill opposite the monumental centre of the city. Its large windows allow for exceptional views of the open-air museum formed by the city, in which the towers of the cathedral dominate.

Elegance, comfort and spaciousness are three of the characteristics describing the common rooms, meeting rooms and the bedrooms. Decorated with marble and other luxurious materials, the interior offers an unsurpassable feeling of elegance.
Panoramic views may be contemplated from all of the living rooms, the swimming pool and from a majority of the bedrooms.

Salamanca is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, with many places for you to discover. Visit the 88 arches of the ”Plaza Mayor” (main square), the Plateresque facade of the University, the new cathedral where one of the oldest colleges is located, and the picturesque ”Casa de las Conchas” (house of shells).

There are three celebrations that you can not miss in Salamanca: the ”Lunes de Aguas” (the first Monday after Easter); San Juan de Sahagun (June 12); and Virgen de la Vega (September 8).

Take a stroll through the mountains of Bejar and to the Rock of Francia.

Other activities to partake in are golf, horse routes, exhibitions of bullfighting, bungee-jumping, hunting and fishing.

At the Parador you may use of the facilities to swim or enjoy a game of tennis. The Parador also has sauna, turkish bath, gymnasium and children's playground.

This Parador has sixty seven twin bedded rooms, twenty two double bedded rooms, two duplexes and five suites.

In the rooms you will find a telephone, television, TV canal plus, safe and a mini bar.

Also for the comfort of your stay there is heating, air conditioning, a gift shop, a restaurant and bar, and conference facilities if required.

Located to the south of the city, at a privileged panoramic viewpoint from which can be made out the monumental silhouette. From Zamora go towards Bejar and Portugal, and from Madrid take the N-VI to Sanchidrian and Salamanca. The Parador is on the left, before entering the city.
